During the design stages of the Wintec window & door system, it was realized that there was a need for ongoing research & development so the decision was made to fabricate a Window & Door Test Laboratory. The next step was to construct the laboratory to the stringent guide lines of the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA), and to have the laboratory & personnel accredited to perform tests to the relevant Australian Standards AS2047 - 1999 & AS4420 - 1999. Many dollars & labour hours later the accreditation was achieved & consequently our accreditation number in the field of mechanical testing is 14093. To remain NATA accredited, the laboratory has frequent internal & external audits, with a full NATA assessment performed every two years.
