The table below is a guide to the acoustic performance of Wintec Aluminium Windows & Doors. The Rw (Weighted Sound Reduction Index) ratings are results of tests conducted at the National Acoustic Laboratory.

  • Tests conducted at the National Acoustic Laboratory December 07.
  • Generic test results on a series of windows & doors, compiled in February 2000 for the Australian Window Association.
  • Base Acoustic ratings of flat glass from glass manufacturers.
  • Air leakage tests conducted in accordance with AS 2047-1999 in NATA registered laboratory No. 14093.
  • Independent Acoustic tests conducted in accordance with AS1191-2002 .
